The Foundation does not award scholarships, loans, or composition grants. Financial assistance is limited to musicians working in the United States. All professional musicians, regardless of genre, are eligible to apply. We also work with other charitable organizations and unions to achieve greater support for musicians and their families.

We can help musicians who have worked at least five years as a professional.
The Musicians Foundation assists professional musicians with grants for medical and allied living expenses in the case of emergency situations.
We do not give grants for scholarships, loans, business plans or provide unemployment benefits.
The application must be completed in full along with documentation establishing your professional status. This means copies of tax returns demonstrating that your principal income is derived from your work as a musician.
Send only copies of all supporting documents. Your application will not be returned.
